Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
In addition to the information already collected by the "Report a
Problem" form let me add the following: The problem occurs with VMware
Server:
VMware Infrastructure Web AccessVersion 2.0.0Build 128374
VMware ServerVersion 2.0.1Build 156745
and specifically with the Remote Console Plugin (2.5.0.122581) that this
version of VMware installs into the Firefox Browser.
When a virtual machine is started and the remote console opened, the
mouse is not captured correctly and it is not made available to the
guest virtual machine. In essence the guest virtual machine is not
usable at all.
It is not trivial, from a distance, to tell whether the problem is in
Firefox or the remote console plug in or in both, however, the problem
is reproducable and I'd be motivated to run additional tests as the
experts might suggest
