Just to comment on those words "to re-boot by power button". Emergency rebooting simply by cutting the power off is not a healthy way. If you have ext4 file system, it may also cause data loss. Please try to reboot by pressing keys (one at a time): R E I S U B while holding down alt + PrtScn (SysRq)
