That's pretty weird.  That sounds like something has messed about with
the system Python installation so that /usr/bin/python's default
sys.path doesn't include bzrlib, or something like that.  It could be a
bug in the bzr 1.13.1-1 package in Jaunty, but I think you're the only
person to report this issue, so I doubt it's a bug in that package.

Can you still reproduce this?  If so, what does "dpkg -L bzr" show?  And
does /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/bzrlib/ exist?
