It seems like some of the python-twisted packages on your system are not
completely installed for some reason. Is this true? The resolve being
imported by client.py in the syncdaemon-exceptions.log is from the same
package (python-twisted-names). And the applet error looks like you are
missing python-twisted-web. Can you verify that these packages are fully
installed, and configured properly? It looks like there are probably
some packaging issues on your system.
