Public bug reported:

version = Karmic

I have nVidia geforce 8200 as an integrated video card.

The nv X driver does not support this card.

X tries the nv driver, which finds no supported hardware, and gives up.

The VESA driver is the correct driver for this card. Adding Load "vesa"
to xorg.conf doesn't help.

The previous version of xserver-xorg-core (Jaunty) sees that the nv driver
found no screens and loads
the VESA driver as a fallback, which works.

I currently have this package downgraded and fixed in dpkg.

** Affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
