A fresh boot also failed. Problem, boot had problem with processing partitions using "LABEL=" in /etc/fstab or in GRUB1.
I then converted LABEL= to /dev/sda... for the several partitions used. Boot then ran properly. ??? IS "LABEL=" being depreciated???? I am not satisfied with GRUB2 due to its lack of picking up mini=Linux=RIP on two of my partitions, thus fell back to GRUB1. I can live without "LABEL=" but I think it silly to drop it without good reason - if indeed this is the case. -- Lenovo INVALID hibernate/resume failure https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/449698 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
