@ ghysmodos: When you switched to the"2.6.3X-XX kernel" did you have issues with WiFi (assuming you run this on a laptop/desktop with WLAN) ? When I switched to 2.6.31-13-generic, the screen resolution was fixed but I couldn't use my WiFi again.
My issues are posted here http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=8091428&postcount=6. Am I the only one with this issue??? I couldn't even get the 'Linux-headers" for the '2.6.31-13-generic' thus I couldn't compile stuff. Right now, I'm back to 2.6.28-15-generic which has it's WiFi working fine, but screen is way too ugly. -- [xorg-edgers] Video driver error: No kernel modesetting driver detected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/447181 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
