I'm not really sure what happened.  I had the computer sitting idle for a
while.  I know the LCD had powered down, but the computer itself was not
asleep.  As soon as the screen came back on when I used the mouse, I saw the
error message.  I don't believe it actually went into hibernate or suspend
mode.
