No, I do not see a maximize button. If I saw a maximize button I would
not have filed this bug. And yes, I'm in karmic, as I was assuming the
apport-provided extra information would tell you. What's probably
relevant though is I'm using metacity, not compiz (this laptop cannot
run compiz). And it looks like metacity gives windows with a type of
"dialog" no minimize/maximize buttons for some reason. The attached
branch forces a type of "normal", which does give a maximize button. It
also sets a flag to center the window, which metacity seems to do by
default for dialogs but not "normal" windows.
