Public bug reported:
Dist upgraded. After reboot, the Ubuntu logo was displayed for 20
seconds then it all went black. After waiting 5 minutes, I rebooted and
started a shell as root via recovery mode. Removing xorg.conf made GDM
start.
When I go to "Hardware drivers", I see two drivers, 173 and 185. 173
works, albeit with some issues. 185 fails every time.
