Public bug reported:

In Kardic there's audio much to loud.

I think the maximum volume at my notebook (Dell Inspirion 1720) should be
approximately by 66% from the actually maximum.
At the other side, there is no sound three steps before mute is switched on. I
can't here any sound under 15% volume.

So, in the practice i can regulate volumen only from 15% to 66% under
15% is no sound and over 66% its much to loud.

In jaunty the basic settings where even better and I was able to set master
volumen etc. with alsa-mixer, but now, I think it's pulse-audio overrides /
change the alsamixer volume if volume is changed by keys or anything else.

Another problem with Sound (i don't know if it's the same) is the
"system beep" (like the internal pc-speaker), its on a very high sound
level, it nearly hurts and i didn't find a way to turn it off.
