newest developments: the latest partial ugrades & updates of Oct 13, 7pm, 2009:
seems to have removed the black shadow frames around windows, icons & apps, as well as the perculiar green check mark on folders & icons. A definite improvement! Boot up speed has also increased, perhaps due to todays newer kernel update. however resolutions & refresh rates have yet to be fixed, as I am sure they will. failure of printer detection is a new bug to me, however not related to xserver-xorg. Keep up the good work guys! Karmic Koala will be better then Jaunty, without having to throw millions of dollars at it, the Ubuntu guys (& gals) have created something that will be better, & definitely less time consuming & inexpensive then Windows ? (7?) ..., I mean Vista SP3!
