Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: network-manager
Dear Developers!
I have got a Toshiba Satelite L300 notebook, and my problem is following:
My wlan controller always enabled (Realtek Rtl8198 Usb wlan controller),
independent the wlan hardware switch toggle (on/off). If the hardware switch is
toggled on or off, nm-applet shows vireless networking is enabled, and I
connect any wlan access point with no problem. :-) :-)
I am not sure this is a network-manager or nm-applet problem.
My friend see this problem an Acer Aspire One netbook with Jaunty, and I see
this problem my EEEPC 701 Netbook. This two machine have a different wlan
controllers.
