Sorry, I forgot that the Lenovos have totally weird product names. Can
you please give me the output of

  hexdump -C /sys/class/dmi/id/product_version

instead?

Also, please do

  gconftool -u /apps/gnome-power-manager/notify/perhaps_recall

to show the recall notice again. Then, please download attached file,
install it with

  sudo cp 95-devkit-power-battery-recall-ibm.rules /lib/udev/rules.d/

then reset the key again with
 
  gconftool -u /apps/gnome-power-manager/notify/perhaps_recall

then reboot your machine, and check if it doesn't show the warning any
more?
