Ok I added the nohz=on option and ran hydrogen, qsynth, and rosegarden all synced with ardour through jacktrans(via qjackctl). I recorded the audio from hydrogen and qsynth into ardour(2 mono tracks). I also had evolution, gwibber, empathy and skype running. I only experienced 3 xruns at 5.something latency. In short performance was great, no slowdown in the UI... all butter
