Hello

I have just tried the 9.10 Beta. The same failure is still there on both
Ubuntu and Kubuntu. i.e. the CD install/Boot hands after a few seconds
and the status indicator bar locks at about halfway through.

This install worked fine on 8.10 so why can't you just fix whatever it
is that got broken after that that release?

The Linux argument is to buy equipment that works with Linux, well my
hardware did work pretty well before, it is Ubuntu that has shifted the
goal posts and created the incompatibility.

I have offered to try and help in any way I can but there is obviously
little interest on your part.

The same disks work fine on my Clevo laptop however and kudos on not
actually breaking the recent fix on the hitherto unrecognised Elantech
touchpad drivers.

With regards
Rowdy
