Hi James, I installed Chrome from a PPA (https://edge.launchpad.net/~chromium- daily/+archive/ppa) on a test environment and then set the browser to "Chromium". I deleted my Ubuntu One key and started Ubuntu One. Ubuntu One opened Chrome and I was able to complete the process. Everything worked as it should. I would suggest to get around this problem to either temporarily set your preferred browser to Firefox or use the PPA version of Chrome and set that to be your preferred browser.
