Public bug reported: Binary package hint: empathy
Support for Facebook chat in Empathy has been broken for most of Karmic's release cycle, and it never worked "out of the box" but needed code for Pidgin's repositories. Upstream doesn't seem to be getting any closer to fixing this bug (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17907), and Karmic is about to be released. Can we at least change Empathy's package description to remove the line saying it supports Facebook when it does not? It's a bit of false advertising, y'know.
