Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubiquity

>From the kernel menu I pick recovery
it loads fine
the I choose
boot normally (or whatever the line actually is)
and I get sent to machine login
if you login and run gnome-session then it says no video settings

But if from kernel menu I do not choose recovery then system loads fine
