according to the forums: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=362065
it also affects the 32-bit version. (didn't check myself). Also according to the forums, the gspca driver provided on the same website as the previous spca5xx and by the same author works fine on the feisty kernel. I really hope that new gspca driver gets included by default, otherwise many users (that driver supports 200+ webcams!) who had working webcams in dapper and edgy thanks to spca5xx will loose ability to use their webcam. -- spca5xx not included in feisty kernel for x86_64? https://launchpad.net/bugs/85199 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
