information:
What version of Ubuntu are you using (Edgy/Feisty etc)?
What version of firefox are you using?
Does this happen on a particular webpage or randomly?
Could you also please install the firefox-dbg utilities and run firefox
from a terminal so that you are able to cut and paste any information it
prints to standard output.
To install firefox-dbg type the following in a terminal
sudo aptitude install firefox-dbg
