Public bug reported:

I have no sound with my Sound Blaster Audigy (ca0106) after last update. 
Beside this when I restart my computer within Ubuntu Karmic and boot Windows XP 
I have no sound too. I have to shutdown computer and power on again to bring up 
sound.
