since a couple of days, during which I have updated the packages once a day, I cannot resume from hibernation and suspension even when using the standard video drivers. Also, no error is shown.
what happens: the system shuts down correctly after hibernation but then, when resuming, it hangs forever: at first, it looks like the resuming is working: the splash screen lites on, the hard disk works intensely, then, for a moment, the display shuts down like if gdm is going to start, but then the same splash screen appears again and stays forever, together which an aperiodic, slight hard disk activity. which log could I show you, considering that I can only get it by switching the PC abruptly and switching it on again? -- [Acer, inc.
