Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: synaptic

If you set Synaptic to "Consider recommended packages as dependencies"
and close Synaptic, the option will be unselected next time you launch
the program.

This bug is a dupe of #154349, I know. But there are no comments and it
was posted in 2007, so I write this one here. The behavior of synaptic
in that point is nasty, bacause the setting has to be made every time
again. I don't want synaptic to install all recommended packages.

A fix was shown in the Bugreport above, so it should be easy to fix
that.

I'm here on Ubuntu 9.10 Beta.

** Affects: synaptic (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
