Why is it when a bug is filed it is never a bug? I had functionality of
the zlib package in Jaunty, but after updating to Karmic its broken. So
how is this not a bug? TIME TO REVIEW CODE and fix! instead of
disregarding a valid bug.

$ php -r 'var_dump(function_exists("gzfile"));'

$ php -r 'var_dump(function_exists("gzopen"));'
