I am sorry, but this has happened a long time ago and I no longer have the same setup now. However, I can report that newer versions (especially Jaunty, which I'm using right now) do not have this problem any more, and I'm able to succesfully run TwinView with different resolutions. This was true before changing my setup (as you can see, I've previously owned two analog monitors) and more so now, when I'm using a digital monitor (that is, connected through DVI cable) and a FullHD LCD TV (connected through DVI to HDMI cable).
However, it should be noted that all changes to display resolution and/or position are made via the nvidia-settings application. -- NVidia TwinView displays incorrectly on screen 1 (slides) when screen 2 is enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/160127 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
