Affects me too. I tried a lot of things to fix this. I also tried to cancel my 
subscription and a new sign-in, but there is this Bug that u1 does not delete 
any file, if the account gets canceld.
Things to mention:
1.) If i delete a File on my PC, the File is still in the Web Interface.
2.) If i delete this File on all my U1 PCs, the File is still there.
3.) u1-syncdamon reports that anything is in sync, even after u1-sdtool 
--refresh-shares
4.) if i add a file to the ubuntu-one folder syncdaemon starts to work, and 
reports that anything is in sync again. The File does not show up in the 
Webinterface, neighter on my 2nd PC. Instead he renamed my old Books folder to 
Books.u1confilct, the Files in this Folder haven't been touched. In fact this 
Folder has not been changed for a while.
