Got this, too. But i think it's not due to time skew, but is caused by
the client not being able to connect at all. I'm on a open network,
which requires login via a web-interface. Since NetworkManager is
connecting automatically and ubuntuone-client-applet is the first
application trying to connect to the web, it gets the login-screen,
which it obviously can't handle. Logging in to u-one after correct login
via the web-front-end worked right away.
