Steps to reproduce (current from 16/02/07)
- Add Planet Ubuntu to Liferea
- Put it in combined view and watch it..
- Notice how you get an XML-malformed-error (today that is: 16/02/07)
- Now put this feed in a folder
- Make sure the 'show all child feeds when a folder is selected' is ON.
- Click on the folder
- It hangs forever
XML-Malformed-error makes me think this is actually an issue with this
specific feed, perhaps even a specific poster on Planet-Ubuntu. The XML-
Malformed error is acceptable is the feed is to blame. The hanging is
not.
It took quite a bit of experimentation to figure out which feed was
causing this. Because I like the directory-view for feeds, and combined
view for their parents..
It might well be that same other not-so-specific it-crashes-bugreports
are having the same issue. Esspecially considering that planet-ubuntu is
on the feed-list by default.
