how to reproduce: choose a custom default video plugin in multimedia settings (gstreamer-properties), put something like: v4l2src device="/dev/video0" ! ffmpegcolorspace ! streaktv into the pipeline box. Click the Close button. Open that dialog again. The previous default plugin is choosen. This happens even after manual editing of the videosrc property in gconf-editor.
