Mackenzie, shouldn't this be asked on the main bug all those duplicates
have been assigned?
I come from a bug somebody also marked as a duplicate to the same bug this
report is marked as a duplicate of, anyway:
$ lspci -nv | grep -A1 0403
00:1b.0 0403: 8086:3a3e
Subsystem: 1458:a102
(It's an Intel ICH10 MB, a GB EP45-DS4).
Also, when choosing Analog Headphones (instead of Analog Output) in the
output tab of Sound Properties, no sound is heard either from the
Headphones or from the speakers.
