** Tags added: apport-collected ** Description changed: Binary package hint: pulseaudio Under Jaunty (and any previous Ubuntu releases), plugging headphones to the headphone mini-jack out plug cuts sounds to the main speakers (analog) and directs it to the headphone output instead. In Karmic, that even is not detected, and the sound keep playing on the speakers even though the headphones have been connected.
