Glad to hear the upstream kernel is performing well. The Karmic 9.10
kernel is actually based on the final 2.6.31 upstream kernel. Since you
confirmed the a 2.6.31release candidate resolved this issue, I would not
have expected it to regress for the 2.6.31 final release. Additionally
that would also likely imply this should also now be resolved with the
latest 2.6.31-14 Karmic kernel. Based on all this information I'm going
to mark this bug Fix Released for now. If however this indeed is not
fixed with Karmic's latest kernel, please do reopen this bug by setting
the status back to "New". Thanks!
