I am having a similar issue with a d600. It is intermittent though. The machine generally works but sometimes when it starts up it will connect but be very slow on the wireless then it will disconnect. It will usually reconnect for short periods of time. Rebooting the machine will clear up the problem. The machine gets turned off every time so it is not an issue with it going to sleep. It only seemed to start happening after upgrading to 9.04 but 8 was only installed for a while and the problem may just not have been noticed.
The wireless network is working fine as my D630 with 8.10 is on the same network and never has the problem. The b43-fwcutter package is installed. Any suggestions on things to try are welcome. ** Attachment added: "dmesg.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/33803671/dmesg.log -- After upgrading to 9.04 broadcom wireless no longer connects and firefox and graphics behaving strangely, everything worked fine with 8.10.
