Public bug reported:
I close the laptop lid and the hd lights go working like the system
wants to suspend, but it never finishes supending; if I then open the
lid I see a black screen with a cursor in the upper left corner and I
have to manually turn off thet system with the physical button.

Annotation: This occured during a previous suspend and prevented it from
resuming properly. The resume processing hung very near the end and will have
appeared to have completed normally.
