Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: mono
using Feisty Fawn upgraded to herd 4 amd 64 I had switched from user to root
and created a folder in /usr/share/icons and added some new Icons to the new
folder logged out and switched back to user. When I logged in I could not see
the mouse anymore although it was still there when I passed over a icon. I was
able to shut down (restart) and logged in as user. When I did so got error
message saying a app had crashed. which was mono. I really don't know why.
there may be two different bugs here. Disappearing mouse and mono crash may or
may not be related.
