Here's the whole content of /var/log/user.log on a Karmic Beta LiveCD, when creating a new user called user1, then playing an audio file with Totem as Live Session user, then switching to user1 - sound from Live Session user stops at gdm login - then playing an audio file with Totem as user1m switching back to LS user, audio from user1 still plays, and file previously playing in LS user is blocked with Totem unresponding, then when file from user1 finishes playing Totem in LS user restarts playing when it had stopped.
