I do confirm the problem.

More generally, the "Malformed URL" message appears when one enters a local 
folder from somewhere else.
Examples :

* Starting Konqueror in ~
* Open a pdf (local) and then press "back" to go back to the folder
* Open an internet page, then click on a bookmark which points to a local 
folder.

In all of these case, I get "Malformed URL". This is 100% reproducible.


This bug was already mentioned upstream quite a long time ago as a side note of 
another bug (Konqueror crashes on splitting local directory ... )
