For xorg-edgers Jaunty, I have now uploaded the 2.9.0 version (backport of stock Karmic version). Since the post-2.9.0 versions had the ~ in their version (2.9.0~git...) this new package will override those.
Since so many people are using xorg-edgers on Jaunty who obviously should not be using it, I am tempted to leave Jaunty at 2.9.0 (with UMS) and only update Karmic and Lucid from now on. xserver-xorg-video-intel (2:2.9.0-1ubuntu2~jaunty) jaunty; urgency=low * No-change rebuild of current karmic version * Thanks for reading the changelog: * !! !! * !! This is the last version with UMS support !! * !! For the 2.9.0+ versions you will need a !! * !! kernel with KMS enabled (see LP: #447181) !! -- Tormod Volden <[email protected]> Sat, 17 Oct 2009 12:19:34 +0200 ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Released ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Assignee: Tormod Volden (tormodvolden) => (unassigned) -- [xorg-edgers] Video driver error: No kernel modesetting driver detected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/447181 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
