I receive this message when I try to change it on my Acer Aspire One: Failed to contact configuration server; some possible causes are that you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you have stale NFS locks due to a system crash. See http://projects.gnome.org/gconf/ for information. (Details - 1: Could not send message to GConf daemon: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus))
I have an empty application bar on the bottom of my screen and a launcher bar that has Applications, Places, System on the top.. typical of the normal Gnome UI, not the Netbook Remix UI. But the home screen interface does load on top of the desktop and the system thinks it is in Netbook UI. -- desktop-switcher crashed with SIGSEGV in gdk_window_enable_synchronized_configure() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/411288 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
