with all updates from uo to this evening (Oct 20, 2009):
nothing is fixed. with the gnome-power-manager set to put the display to
sleep in 1 min, nothing happens at this time, wjhile the display dims
off slowly at 5 min, which is not set, neither for battery nor for AC.
mythtv is also not switched off at 1min (not sruprising given above) I
can't determine if it is switched off at 5min, because it is always
chrashing between 2 and <5min.
Killing gnome-screensaver results in the display switched fast-off at
1min. mythtv sometimes crashes at 2min, sometimes goes up to +8min.
