Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager

Ubuntu version: feisty
package version: 2.17.0-0ubuntu1

Issue: Photos cannot be properly imported.

Reproduce: Plug in my Canon SD600 camera and try to import when the
automatic dialog pops up or run gnome-volume-manager-gthumb from the
command line.

I am able to properly import photos with F-spot.

When run on the command line I get the following for output:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~$ gnome-volume-manager-gthumb

process 30064: arguments to dbus_message_new_method_call() were incorrect,
assertion "_dbus_check_is_valid_path (path)" failed in file dbus-message.c line
1074.
This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.
libhal.c 920 : Couldn't allocate D-BUS message
error: libhal_device_get_property_type: (null): (null)
hal_get_property.c 178 : INFO: called LIBHAL_FREE_DBUS_ERROR but dbusError was
not set.
