The issue here is that the Ksplice Uptrack modprobe wrapper uses the /bin/uname command, but Ubuntu Karmic removed it from the initramfs.
This is a bug in Ksplice's Uptrack software, not in the ksplice package in Ubuntu. Thus, I've reassigned this bug to the Ksplice Uptrack project. A fix is being tested and I expect it to be released later today. -- usplash logo disappears before xsplash complaining about the lack of /bin/uname by /sbin/modprobe https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/446745 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
