@lotus49 Thanks too for delurking for the advice. I think I'll stop clogging up the thread, stay subscribed, and go for a mosey around irc for some help to get familiar with gconfig, and will only return here if/when the bug is solved in my install. Don't you just get annoyed when a fresh install misbehaves ;-)
