Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cryptsetup
Basically every boot in ubuntu studio the system has a 50% chance to crash, while usplash is running, it will scroll under the boot splash complaining about /dev/mapper/cryptswap1 in /etc/fstab, then it might freeze at the boot splash, get to gdm and black screen, or it just might boot. Here is my fstab: http://pastebin.com/f7a64777f system info: dual boot ubuntu/vista fresh install of ubuntu-studio x64 and all updates compaq cq60-215dx laptop nvidia 8200M G 4 gigs of ram ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Thu Oct 22 00:48:33 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: cryptsetup 2:1.0.6+20090405.svn49-1ubuntu7 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-9.152-rt SourcePackage: cryptsetup Uname: Linux 2.6.31-9-rt x86_64 ** Affects: cryptsetup (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- /dev/mapper/cryptswap1 errors and not booting https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/457887 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
