Public bug reported: When the regina3 package is installed the following shared library is placed in /usr/lib
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 421664 2007-10-31 10:08 libregina.so.3.3 and a link to it is created. lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 2009-10-22 14:21 libregina.so.3 -> libregina.so.3.3 so that applications can refer to it as libregina.so.3 but most applications that want to call Regina Rexx will refer to the library as "libregina.so" I fixed my local problem with an application that was trying to use libregina.so by manually adding a link lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 2009-10-22 14:22 libregina.so -> libregina.so.3 Please can you amend the config script to add this generic name automatically.
