Mattttbe there is a problem with the version of the plug-ins. Switcher requires CD 2.1.0 or later, but actually it is 2.0.9 or later. I'm afraid many applets won't work then, is it possible to fix it in the Ubuntu packages ? the only modification should be to change the version numbers in the init.c files of all applets that need 2.1.x (in the macro CD_APPLET_DEFINITION, juste after or before the description).
