I get this as well, however, I only get it if I try to set the option -ss beyond 2196.
Here's the complete command I use, which encodes it into something my PDA with TCPMP can handle: mencoder dvd:// -alang en -oac mp3lame -ovc xvid -vf scale=320:-2 -o /dev/null -xvidencopts pass=1 I also get complete kernel crashes if I let it run all the way through and if I use crop, like so: -vf scale=320:-2,crop=320:128:0:26 I think the above crop command is used the wrong way, but I'm not sure. I've attached the crash report that it created. ** Attachment added: "Crash report" http://librarian.launchpad.net/6464525/crash.7z -- Mencoder segfault https://launchpad.net/bugs/77586 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
