The default theme in karmic is certainly not going to be changed, at
this point, but I don't see any reason we can't reintroduce the previous
theme as a separate package in universe. Requesting a freeze exception
from motu-release for usplash-theme-ubuntu-color as a "new" source
package for karmic.
