So, now it's happening in Adobe Acrobat 9.1.3 on Ubuntu as well... only worse, I think. Evince at least was print frames and bars; I'm getting blank sheets of paper from Acrobat as of today, or at least some time this week. As I recall there was a poppler update just a day or two ago. I'm attaching a pdf that I can view in Acrobat (not view in evince) but not print.
